Why the Leaf is here to stay

If you don’t know what the Nissan LEAF is yet, you’ve had to
be living under a rock for the last year (or maybe a leaf).  But just
incase that is the situation, I’ll fill you in.  The LEAF is a 100%
electric vehicle (EV) with zero emissions that Nissan released at the
end of last year.  The vehicle, which is available for purchase at your
local Palm Beach Gardens Nissan dealer and West Palm Beach used car and new car dealer, Royal Palm Nissan, is (arguably) the first mass-produced EV in the history of automobiles.

The word arguably is in parenthesis because there are some who
believe the world had already been introduced to electric vehicles.
Granted, there have been some attempts at electric vehicles by big
automobile companies, such as Toyota and GM, as well as smaller auto
manufacturers like Telsa, but none of these companies have managed to
produce an EV that the average person can walk down the street, purchase
and then use in daily life.  Issues varying from refueling, to cost, to
range and beyond have all kept previous EV vehicles out of the hands of
most Americans.

But with the Nissan LEAF, all of these issues have been accounted
for.  Now, the average person really can head to their local Palm Beach
Gardens Nissan dealer and West Palm Beach used car
and new car dealer and drive away in a Nissan LEAF.  (Okay,
theoretically this is the case.  Because the Nissan LEAF is so new,
there is a waiting period for vehicle delivery that can be up to one
year.  But this time constraint will only increasingly diminish.)

With the availability of this vehicle now a fact, the existence of
EVs, and specifically the LEAF, is a truth that will not go away.  Given
the choice, there are people who will choose to drive electric
vehicles over gasoline-powered vehicles.  What’s more, given the choice
to drive an electric vehicle over a gasoline-powered vehicle that does
not inhibit one’s current lifestyle, there are even more people that
will opt to make the shift.  Tack on the fact that gas prices are
predicted to pass the $5 mark this summer and you can bet your bottom
dollar that the EV LEAF is here to stay.
