Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome

PCOS is a common hormone imbalance that affects one out of ten
women. PCOS is both a hormonal and a metabolic disorder. Polycystic
Ovarian Syndrome is a condition in which a woman's ovaries and, in some
cases the adrenal glands, produce more androgens (a type of hormone)
than normal. High levels of these hormones interfere with the
development and release of eggs as part of the ovulation process.

The periods may be few and far between, nonexistent, heavy or scanty.
This all depends on the circumstances surrounding the manifestation of
the cysts. In some women the hormonal imbalance does not allow for eggs
to be released regularly so the period will not be regular; in some the
follicle is not able to mature and reach through the thick covering of
the polycystic ovarian cysts to release eggs so there will be no period
at all. The hormonal imbalance could also influence the quantity of
blood flow during those times when the period does occur.

Symptoms vary with each person so you really need to ask questions of
your doctor and do research on your own to find a regimen that will
work best for you. Read up on Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome cure and find
out that there other alternatives to getting rid of PCOS symptoms other
than drugs.

One out of every 10 women suffers from this disease. This affects the
monthly flow, fertility, hormones, heart, blood vessel and appearance
of the women. Generally women suffering from this experience elevated
levels of androgen, irregular monthly flow and their ovaries have a lot
of fluid filled cysts. As of the moment, the exact cause of the disease
is still unknown save for the fact that it can be considered as
hereditary disease because of the high probability that women who have
relatives who suffered from this disease might also have this.

Now I will tell you more about insulite PCOS system. It has been known
that the cause of Polycystic ovarian syndrome is in the insulin
resistance. British Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (BJOG)
published that up to 41% of women that have Polycystic ovarian syndrome
( PCOS) have Type 2 Diabetes or impaired glucose tolerance by age 40.
This makes this disease more serious so it should be well monitored.

If you have recently been diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian syndrome,
you may be feeling overwhelmed and scared. I felt the same upon my
diagnosis over 7 years ago. I was not informed about this condition and
it was difficult to get accurate information. If you think you may have
PCOS, please stay tuned as the next post will review how PCOS is
diagnosed; what tests are performed and what your next steps should be.

There are natural methods that have been used successfully to treat
polycystic ovarian syndrome, and they are far less dangerous then long
term use of hormonal treatments or surgery. Surgery is usually required
if a cysts grows to 6 centimeters or larger, or if a condition called
"torsion" occurs, where the cyst becomes twisted which can block the
flow of blood to the cyst and can cause severe pain.A woman's ovaries
produce an abundance of follicles; these follicles produce eggs each
month and usually only one egg matures and is released through the
fallopian tubes. The ovaries of a woman with polycystic ovarian
syndrome does not make all of the hormones necessary for any of the
eggs to fully mature, therefore no egg is released through the
fallopian tubes for fertilization.

Often spotted by light or irregular menstrual periods, or in some
cases, no periods taking place whatsoever the condition arises when
high levels of male hormones, for example, testosterone are present as
well as when there is an increase in luteinising hormones. The ovarian
follicle is prevented from maturation and instead of turning into an
egg it dies and later takes the form of a cyst. At this time a thinning
or loss of hair or to the other extreme excessive hair growth, acne,
depression and considerable mood swings may also show themselves as the
symptoms of PCOS associated with hormonal imbalance.

Fabuliss Goes from strength to strength!

Fabuliss Goes from strength to strength

by TinaCortina ~ roving Hampshire reporter

Is there such thing as bad publicity? Well despite the ‘infamous’ Daily Mail article back In January, headlined ‘transvestites invade sleepy village’, and the cruel expose of organisers Linda Bryant and partner Natasha, Fabuliss ( www.fabuliss.co.uk ) continues to go from strength to strength.

Sitting on the A3 in Hampshire half way between Guildford and Portsmouth, Liphook may be a sleepy commuter suburb but to tgirls from all over the South East it is quickly becoming an established venue and calendar event on the 2 nd Wednesday of each month. Located at the Millennium centre Liphook, opposite Sainsbury’s, the large hall offers plenty of scope for the larger events involving dancing and food, smaller rooms for hire when needed and a separate bright modern bar area, where Angela runs a very cheerful bar.

Unique to most tranny events is the large posse of genuine women (and I mean that is the nicest sense!) that are always present at the events. Linda herself an enterprising local businesswoman herself running Bliss2Dress (specialist corset & fashionwear) as well as a wedding cake business. Angela, Sue and daughter Rowena, Michelle, Claire, Mandy…the list goes on, all do their bit.

Every month has seen something different. Not content with putting on the traditional Christmas and Valentines Balls, running theme nights….etc, Linda has taken to inviting local businesses in to ‘meet the girls’ and there has been no shortage of volunteers. After that unwanted national exposure, Linda started a friends of Fabuliss scheme that meant that supporters from the local community could, by prior arrangement, join in the evenings and spread the message that we are just fun-loving girls doing what we do best…having fun.

For the growing band of girls that have been going regularly, myself included, this has meant a safe place to dress as girls, chat and make friends with other girls, but also to meet with the ‘public’ or at least those from outside the ‘scene’. It’s like going to a mainstream venue, but for those that might be worried about that, no risk because its all in protected circumstances.

Last night I met up with a local councillor Eve, who along with bar manager Angela and a string of our gorgeous bevvies, did a London theatre trip recently, meal first then ‘Les Cages aux Folles’. Later this summer, they are planning to do something similar for the stage production of ‘Priscilla, Queen of the Desert’. For those that are a little nervous stepping out in public, these group trips are ideal.

But heh this is progress isn’t it. A few years back, we’d be saying, ‘I’m in the closet, I need to find a safe venue to be dressed’ (and be non too fussy about the décor). Now we take the best there is to offer, use it to make friends, gain confidence and pretty soon, we’ll all be doing the theatre trips.

And for those who are less confident? Well Fabuliss (via Claire) can offer you a make-over (for £25), deportment lessons from Mandy or just the advice of those of the women around. And if you still want to sit in the bar, with your legs wide open……well I guess you can do that too….but expect some backlash.

So more on last night, Wednesday 13 May. Well this was a ‘trade fair event’ where many of the people that had visited individually in previous months, were invited back with others to set up a stand, selling their wares. It was all very informal and I don’t know how much other girls spent, but I was happily sporting my new wig by the end of the evening!!

Let me give you a flavour, by doing a quick tour……..

There was Paradise brides, based in Copnor, Portsmouth run by a lovely lady called Pat. She does the Bournemouth Wedding weekend and others and had brought some gorgeous outfits. The feature dress on show was truly beautiful…. and not cheap at over £400. That didn’t go, but I gather she sold a couple from the rack that evening and she was glad to have made the trip.

I stopped off on Diane’s stand for coffee and cake, and while munching said hello again to Tim Savage and his girl friend Sue. 2 months ago, Tim visited Fabuliss, set up in one of the adjoining rooms and all night long took photos in studio conditions of any tgirl that fancied it. That night he took over 700 photos of nearly all the girls there that evening (40+?). Within a week, everyone had 3 snaps or more free of charge. Tim is a professional photographer ( http://www.savagephoto.co.uk/ ) that was looking to the transgendered community to provide the inspiration for his MA in photographic art. He featured four of the fabuliss girls in an exhibition at the James Hockey centre Farnham and a group had got together for a preview show of his work.

What more could a girl ask for? A trip out, more photo opportunities. Even better, Tim says he doesn’t want to stop there. He wants to do more work with tgirl models, either in the studio or on location and he will be knocking on the door again in a month or two.

I had met Sue Love and daughter Helen, back in January. We were on the same table on the burlesque night (with Miss Honeymoon) eating the gorgeous buffet meal that night. They operate the Butterfly lingerie business with a shop in Petersfield near the folly market www.butterflylingerie.co.uk . They have girls come in to the shop, ‘dressed’ or not and promise a friendly welcome. On Wednesday, Helen was ‘modelling’ a gorgeous Voller’s corset, which they stock. These aren’t cheap, most are around £150, but they are the best if you have too many excess pounds in the wrong places!

Next a quick chat with Maria Jones ( www.TVamc.tv ). Maria is a tgirl about town and can be seen at all the venues from Magic Theatre in London, Pink Punters in Milton Keynes, to Transisters in Brighton. With wife, Claire, they run a make-over business in Weybridge, Surrey and have been expanding rapidly these last few months, incorporating escorted shopping trips and new club Candy Girls features regularly.

There was also a Maria from Budgie footwear ( www.budgie20020.co.uk ) who had a great stand of platform shoes, thigh boots and extra high heels. Again a second time visitor to Fabuliss, she had travelled from Swindon with a large stock of the ‘larger sized’ shoes and boots. She and her friend proved you can look good and stay in them all night by wearing their own merchandise. Later, they had a pair of killer heels in a smaller size ready for raffle winner Rowena at the end of the evening.

Claire Dennis runs Colour Technics (email clairecolourtechnics@yahoo.co.uk ) from Headley Down, just up the road and amongst other things offers the £25 makeovers, which spruced dear Patsy that evening. I was listening to her chatting to Dee about the special care, we ‘girls’ need to take of our skin, to soften and to moisturise, but I think I would need a special training course to get that right. Now that is a good idea!! On the same stand, Carol was recommending the benefits of drinking Aloe Vera gel.

Natalie from Treloggan Wigs ( www.trelogganwigs.co.uk ) also came up from Portsmouth, in February I think and I’m glad they came back as I managed to bag an £80 bargain. It’s a funny think trying on a wig. You have these pre-conceived ideas as to what will look good or bad on you. Thankfully they had brought with them a large stock and on a about the 5 th or 6 th try, we found something. I had managed to persuade my wife to join me. She liked it. So I spent a part of the evening walking around, complete with labels asking everyone whether I should buy it. Anyway, I can certainly recommend

Last but not least, Zoe runs Buttercup handmade jewellery and did a steady trade all evening ( www.buttercup-designs.co.uk ). She sells mainly around Portsmouth & Southampton and also takes part in the Southampton art market. I definitely had in mind a necklace or my birthday and was keen to buy something, but my wife stopped me ~ ahh sweet, she must have already bought all my presents!

If I’ve missed anyone, I’m sorry. Everyone was so good natured and happy to take time to chat. They also all contributed to the raffle and there were some seriously sublime prizes this time, shoes, makeovers, money off vouchers, clothes. Wow, I wished I’d bought more tickets, but then I did win last month.

Increasingly, everyone in the retail sector is becoming tranny friendly. Lets face it in these difficult times, they can’t afford to turn us away, but hats off to those that actually come out and seek our trade and well done Fabuliss for getting them to us.

Next month we have the Miss Fabuliss 2009 award evening to look forward to. It’s on Wednesday 10 th June and winners will get a photoshoot courtesy of Tim Savage, and a variety of other prizes from sponsors Transliving and the Wayout club.

Don’t miss it ~ it could be another ‘fabuliss night’.

Entry for 19 September 2006 Sharon

Let's talk about stamp collecting.   I  was 13, I think, when I got my first stamp collecting kit for Christmas ... when 1955?   Anyhow, a long, long time ago.  You could still buy large cents at the toy store on the corner for a dime (your choice!).   When I went into the navy at 19  (how could I have been 19 in 1959? )  I had what I thought was a substancial collection of Austrian stamps. ( I was precocious, I suppose.)

Actually when I got out of the navy about four years later; I put some time and a lot of money into that collection and then I got interested in girls.  Not that I wasn't interested in girls before.

OK my  Chinese friends are always asking me about my children.   When I got out of the Navy in 1965 or so I had a one night stand with a girl who I had known before I joined the Navy.  It was terrible!  I was exhausted and I could not preform well.  I think that that ended our relationship right there.  But, evidently I did preform well enough I found out about 9 months later.  Oh!  actually looking back it was only a short time later that she came by to show me a note from her doctor.

Why a note?  Because she was a big liar. I think she knew that I knew half the time she was lying.  Anyway, I said that I needed time to think about it.  I was in no position to get married.  I told her that I wanted to ask my parents. Well, anyway, I don't know what I was thinking.  Next time I called her her mother answered the phone and was all upset like who would be calling Sharon?   I told her and she told me that Sharon was married now.

But, later for some reason her mother called my grandmother and wanted to know about some painting that I had done of Sharon.  Actaully, I think she just wanted to show me a photo of Sharon's baby.  Later she and the Marine she married seperated and her mother called my grandmother again and tried to set us up.  But, Sharon had moved on and wasn't interested in a wimp like me.  She had beautiful hair.  I think that she could have easily been one of those girls on TV who just shampooed with brand X. I used to go to the roller skating rink every friday and saturday night.  It was my place to go.  I met Sharon there and I was kind to her because usually I wanted to skate with girls who could skate.  Of course, my kindness was to skate with a really pretty girl who couldn't skate.

It is like in remembering just how things came about whole worlds that have lain forgotten come to life again.  I bought a pair of skates about four months ago and I thought that it would be good exercise for me.  But, I can hardly stand on them.  I haven't skated for 40 years or so.  I used to steal my mother's Pontiac to go to the roller rink.  I had a friend who had taught me how to hot wire a car.  Strangely he became a cop not too long after he and I hung out together.  I could steal a car then with a coat hanger and the foil wrapper from a stick of gum.

There were two girls who were really good skaters:  Susan and Marie.  Oh, and also Jeanette...  hmm...   But, I remember wanting to skate with some of the girls who could really skate well.   These girls both had boy friends and so when you skated with them you had to pretend not to be interested.  It was a teenage thing that you had to accquire -- I don't know how else to explain it. I for sure didn't have it.  But, I managed to pull it off and I got to skate with both Susan and Marie.

When I went to ask Marie it was for sure I thought that she was going to turn me down.  But, she didn't and that is when I knew that she had been watching me.  It was the style back then with pairs to both skate backwards the girl spooned into the boy and holding one hand and using the other for balance.  The songs were oldies but goodies.  Only then they were newer oldies.   They turned the lights down and had one of those reflecting lights that cast tiny patters of colored light that you skated through during couples only.  It was great.

I didn't go skating much after I got out of the Navy.  I think I went a few times.  I had learned drinking in the Navy.  So, I went to a lot of bars and a that time topless bars were the craze.  I also went to Little Tokyo and tried to drink there.   But, I wasn't really welcome there.  Anyway, that is another story.

Also it is another story of how I happened to get caught with a girl in a very compromising position by my grandmother whoes guest house I was renting at the going rate of nothing per month.  I had to move out.  I had no money and so I thought:  well, that I would sell my stamp collection.  And, I did over a period except that I had this beautiful Austrian collection.  Well, I took it to the best dealer I knew.  I got offered $100.00 for it.  I had to have well over a thousand in it in sets that I had bought of Austrian semi postals and air mails.   I decided to "grow up."  And, I sold my stamp collection.

OK So that is sort of the story of my first son. Who isn't my son.  Who maybe could have been my son.  I have counted him as mine since I saw his photo sitting there with Sharon's mother.

Ten Most Fuel Efficient Cars Of 2010

Today we are going to go over the top ten Fuel Efficient Cars currently being sold in and outside the US. While most of the fuel efficient cars on the EPA (Environment Protection Agency) list of the most efficient cars are listed below. Along with some information on what type of car it is. This list contains mostly all Hybrid cars.

Later through out this post you will be given some very powerful information on how you can convert your current car to a hybrid with very little out of pocket expenses. We all know it is important to own a fuel efficient car. Especially with how the current gas prices are soaring though out the world. Prepare to be amazed by some of the cars you will find on this list of the top ten fuel efficient cars.

Top Ten Best Fuel Efficient Cars Of 2010

1. Toyota Prius 3rd Generation Hybrid. According to the EPA the Prius is the most fuel efficient car sold in the USA. The Prius is a gas-electric hybrid that first went on sale in Japan in 1997. The Prius was also the first mass produced hybrid ever to hit the production lines. The Toyota Prius 3rd Gen Hybrid currently holds the number 1 spot on the most fuel efficient cars of 2010.
2. Ford Fusion Hybrid is driven by a state of the art propulsion gas-electric engine. The Ford Fusion first hit the production line Aug. 1 2005. Fusion Hybrid propulsion is supplied by a combination of two sources: an electric motor powered by an innovative nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) battery and the next generation of the 2.5L Atkinson-Cycle I-4 gas engine. The Ford Fusion Hybrid was a close runner up to the Toyota Prius landing it in the top two most fuel efficient cars of 2010.
3. Honda Civic Hybrid was first introduced in Japan in late 2001. The Honda Civic Hybrid was introduced to the us in Feb. of 2002 as a 2003 model. The motor is a super efficient 1.3-liter, 8-valve i-VTEC 4-cylinder gasoline engine paired with a lightweight, high-output electric motor, which adds extra power when needed. The Honda civic has made the top ten list for the most fuel efficient cars for the past few years. Once again it makes the top three most fuel efficient cars of 2010.
4. Honda Insight Hybrid was first introduced in 1999. The Insight features a highly efficient, 1.3-liter, 8-valve, i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine and DC-brushless electric motor, and it's equipped with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The Honda Insight landed itself amongst the top five on the top ten fuel efficient cars of 2010
5. Lexus HS250h Hybrid was introduced in 2009 as a luxury compact sedan. The engine is a In-line 4, Atkinson cycle with a high output electric drive motor.Even with all its luxuries it has still landed in the top five of the most fuel efficient cars of 2010. It just goes to show you do not need to give up luxury and comfort to own one of the most fuel efficient cars.
6. Nissan Altima Hybrid was first introduced in 2007. The Hybrid Altima features a 2.5 L engine QR25DE, CVT transmission, and electric motor/generator.
7. Ford Escape Hybrid was first introduced to the US in 2004. The Ford Escape Hybrid was also the first SUV hybrid ever to hit the market. The Ford Escape Hybrid has a 2.5L Atkinson-Cycle I-4 Engine with a Permanent Magnet AC synchronous electric motor.
8. Mazda Tribute Hybrid was first introduced in 2007. The Mazada Tribute hybrid offers a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder or 3.0-liter V6.
9. Mercury Mariner Hybrid was first introduced in early 2005. The Mercury Mariner Hybrid offers a 2.5L iVCT I4 Atkinson cycle engine & Permanent magnet electric motor with a 330-volt sealed nickel-metal-hydride (NIMH) battery and a 6-Speed automatic transmission.
10. Smart fortwo Cabriolet is the only none hybrid on the top ten best fuel efficient cars of 2010. The Smart foretwo Cabriolet was first introduced in 1998. This two seater offers a 1 liter / 61 cu inch inline 3 engine. Making it the most fuel efficient none hybrid car currently on the market.

While all of the fuel efficient cars mentioned above provide great gas mileage. There is still one major Delma for many. That Delma is the fact many can not afford to purchase any of these new vehicles. Since studies show that most cars on the road today are older then 10 years. This means with all of these cars older then ten years old you are wasting more money on fuel cost every day on gas you could be saving.

Although did you know your current car could be on this cars list. Granted you will not get as good of gas mileage as the Toyota Prius or the Ford Fusion hybrids. You could still save a ton of money every single month on gas. All that is needed to do is add a very simple device called the hho dry cell. These device range in prices from $300-2000. However with the right set of instructions you could build one of these devices your self and install it over the course of a weekend.

Thank you for taking the time to read this article. If you are looking for ways to save money or build you own Fuel Efficient Cars. Please Feel free to stop by my main site Hydrogen Fuel Cars

Singapore TV fined for gay scenes

LMG - The range for the SAW and RPD are irrelevant as the damage does not change. M60 has 1000-1500 range

M249 SAW
DMG: 30 - 30 | ROF: .065 (925~ rounds per minute)

RPD
DMG: 40 - 40 | ROF: .085 (700 rounds)

M60E4
DMG: 50 - 40 | ROF: .01 (600 rounds)

-

SHOTGUN - Both fire eight hitscans/shot, and have a range of 300-600 (Winchester 300-500). They are also

unique in that when sighted, the spread becomes WIDER.

Winchester 1200
DMG: 40 - 10 | ROF: .283 (200~ shells per minute) / Pump
SPR: 4 hip spread, 5.5 sight spread

M1014
DMG: 30 - 10 | ROF: .2 (300 shells per minute) / Semi
SPR: 5 hip spread, 5.5 sight spread

-

Dragunov (SVD)
SNIPER RIFLE - All five rifles are very much the same; what you pick is personal preference.
All do 70-70 damage.
All have the same level of sway and accuracy (existing Anti-Lag & Lerp issue notwithstanding).
Dragunov has more kick than the rest.

-

PISTOL - The Beretta, USP and 1911 all do 40-20 damage, Desert Eagle and Gold Eagle do 50-30.

BER: 250- 500 range ;15 rounds ; 150-350 silenced
USP: 450-1000 range ;12 rounds ; 250-650 silenced
COL: 350- 900 range ; 8 rounds ; 250-500 silenced
DEA: 350-1200 range ; 7 rounds ; no silencer

---

The Stopping Power and Sonic Boom Perks use a simple formula.
New Damage = damage multiplied by (100+damage) divided by 100
40 damage added to 100. 140 divided by 100. 1.4 is multiplied to the original damage, leading to the new

enhanced damage.

30 x 1.3 increases it to 39
40 x 1.4 increases it to 56
50 x 1.5 increases it to 75

The higher the initial damage, the greater the effect.

Juggernaut decreases damage from bullets and explosions. Damage is decreased to 75%. In another sense, you

have 135 health.
Juggernaut cancels out Stopping Power and Sonic Boom as well - no increased damage, no reduced damage.

Some notes:
- Distance units are something resembling inches.
- The G36C is clearly worse than the M4 in every way possible - though that's not what the stats chart say
- Hardcore mode reduces player health to 30, Old School increases it to 200.
- There was an AW50 weapon that was supposed to deal 100 damage per shot, but it was not included.
- Maximum shot travel distance for any bullet in the game is about 350 m.

Abandoned Road

There's a desire, a stirring my heart. I want to return to the north. Two years ago I wanted to climb one of the great mountains. But I didn't quite get to the top. A distraction stopped the climb, and instead I found myself in a tall dark forest.

The attached photos are of an abandoned road. Once a driveable road. I drove up and back several times. I've taken friends to this place. This forest is west of Kempsey, in New South Wales, Australia. Now fallen trees are crossing the road.

This forest is known as Cool Temperate Rainforest. In all my travels, I have never seen anything this good. Big trees, ancient wonders of the rainforest world. Antarctic Beech, Yellow Carabeen, Coachwood, Soft Corkwood. This is one of the greatest forests in all Australia. On two trips I drove there, just to sleep in a tent under this forest. The first night was quiet and still. After midnight a wind blew in the high tree tops above the tent, waking me. An approaching army marched above, rattling the canopy leaves. Came and went.

Then the forest was reclaimed by calm. Two years later I again slept in the same tent, in the same spot. A misty night, the tent constantly dripped by falling water from above. A foggy night.

And at the foggy dawn, the next morning, waking to a howling of a pack of dingoes. Earlier I heard small animals on the other side of the tent, sniffing, kicking around. What were they? Pademelons, bettongs, bandicoots, quolls, antechinus?

Travelling for such a long distance, just to climb a mountain. But instead, I just stayed nearby in the forest. Just under the summit. It was so good, I didn't want to leave. And when there, I thought; "who cares about climbing to the top of Mount Banda-Banda?"

bye PETER xxx

nfl jerseys The Death of the Residential Real Est

There are some common mistakes that you, before they can begin to be fatal. By avoiding these mistakes, you can take your business to the next level of success and avoid pitfalls that most Real Estate Investors to kill career before it ever really started.

It is necessary to get planning security, where you go and know nfl jerseys so do not go where they want, how you can go? Did not you at the airport and waits for a flight to your specific destination within minutes after arrival to catch appears if you have already booked a ticket. Why spend all their time and money, without a game plan? Take a few hours if you shoot to start your business goals. Write short-term (30 days), medium term (three months - 1 year) and long-term goals (two years, five years). You can use these goals are always sure your company is on the right track. Plan your work; work your plan. You’ll see success this way.

Get an Education, But Proceed With Caution

I’m not talking about wasting your time with a college degree. However, having a solid , which you can’t get in college by the way, can make a big difference for your business.

The industry of real estate investing has a vibrant and fast pace. If you are starting your own real estate investing business, education is very important. Study everything you can find to study related to your new profession. However, be careful because there’s a self proclaimed “expert” around every corner, with something to sell you. While there are many legitimate, experienced investors out there who offer “how to” courses and seminars, I can assure you with 100% certainty that many of the “experts” selling the latest and greatest “magic real estate pill” are nothing more than salespeople disguising themselves as real estate experts.

So, the obvious question here is how does a new investor whose being offered a new magic real estate pill from every angle, decipher the good from the bad. Unfortunately, no one can give you a “formula” to decide who to learn from. However, keep nfl jerseys. this in mind: If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, it’s a duck. Trust your “gut” feelings. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Nothing can replace hard and smart work combined with real world experience, not even a $10,000 bootcamp.

Jack of All Trades

While it’s important to specialize in your chosen it’s important to understand every aspect of the residential real estate game so you can exploit all opportunities. For example, a smart investor may focus on the wholesaling niche and plan his business accordingly. As a wholesaler, you need a reliable and steady source of leads. So he runs TV commercials in his local market to get the phone ringing off the hook. Every lead that comes in is first qualified as a wholesale lead and if it doesn’t work for a wholesale deal, he then considers other exit strategies to determine if the lead is worth pursuing further.

The above example shows you that the wholesalers first choice of exit strategies is wholesaling, so he needs to become an expert in that niche. But, it’s still important for him to understand other ways of doing profitable deals so worthy leads don’t go to waste.

Protecting Yourself from the Ambulance Chasers

Do your research. Set up a corporate entity to protect yourself. If you are lazy or put off setting up a corporation, you could face a lawsuit that will destroy your personal wealth. Protect yourself. Protect your business. Set up a corporate entity that fits your company profile before doing any business deals.

Overpaying

A big part of real estate investment success has to do with knowing your market. How much are properties worth? What prices are appropriate in some neighborhoods – and way too expensive in others? Understanding how much to pay for a piece of property will affect your profit, future sales and inventory. Do your research to get a better idea of the property values in the areas you are looking and take advantage of economic situations to find great deals on quality properties.

Table Top Closing and Title Issues

When an investor does a “table top” closing, they rarely check the title. You’re opening yourself up for a mess if you neglect this one. It’s a sure recipe for a lawsuit. What happens if you take a sellers word for it that there’s no liens on their property, take over payments subject to the existing mortgage, put a tenant/buyer in the property on a lease option, then find out when the tenant/buyer exercises his option to buy that the house has a $50,000 IRS tax lien attached to the title? You’re scr**wed and you can expect a lawsuit.

Getting the Wrong Number

Getting the wrong numbers for a property can be quite damaging to your business. You can tie up too much money and IF you do finally sell, your profits will be much smaller. When real estate investors first start out, they will often pay too much for a property OR pay too much to fix the property. Either mistake can cost your business and make you lose all of your financial equity. Do your research and know your numbers, including estimates of what it might cost to get certain projects completed.

Get more from your real estate investing business when you avoid these common mistakes. The real estate industry can be complicated, but the more experience and research you complete, the better off you will be!

3.2. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban - AUNT MARGE'S BIG MISTAKE

Harry went down to breakfast the next morning to find the three Dursleys

already sitting around the kitchen table. They were watching a brand-new

television, a welcome-home-for-the-summer present for Dudley, who had

been complaining loudly about the long walk between the fridge and the

television in the living room. Dudley had spent most of the summer in

the kitchen, his piggy little eyes fixed on the screen and his five

chins wobbling as he ate continually.

Harry sat down between Dudley and Uncle Vernon, a large, beefy man with

very little neck and a lot of mustache. Far from wishing Harry a happy

birthday, none of the Dursleys made any sign that they had noticed Harry

enter the room, but Harry was far too used to this to care. He helped

himself to a piece of toast and then looked up at the reporter on the

television, who was halfway through a report on an escaped convict:

"... The public is warned that Black is armed and extremely dangerous. A

special hot line has been set up, and any sighting of Black should be

reported immediately."

"No need to tell us he's no good," snorted Uncle Vernon, staring over

the top of his newspaper at the prisoner. "Look at the state of him, the

filthy layabout! Look at his hair!"

He shot a nasty look sideways at Harry, whose untidy hair had always

been a source of great annoyance to Uncle Vernon. Compared to the man on

the television, however, whose gaunt face was surrounded by a matted,

elbow-length tangle, Harry felt very well groomed indeed.

The reporter had reappeared.

"The Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries will announce today --"

"Hang on!" barked Uncle Vernon, staring furiously at the reporter. "You

didn't tell us where that maniac's escaped from! \What use is that?

Lunatic could be coming up the street right now!"

Aunt Petunia, who was bony and horse-faced, whipped around and peered

intently out of the kitchen window. Harry knew Aunt Petunia would simply

love to be the one to call the hot line number. She was the nosiest

woman in the world and spent most of her life spying on the boring,

law-abiding neighbors.

"When will they learn," said Uncle Vernon, pounding the table with his

large purple fist, "that hanging's the only way to deal with these

people?"

"Very true," said Aunt Petunia, who was still squinting into next door's

runner beans.

Uncle Vernon drained his teacup, glanced at his watch, and added, "I'd

better be off in a minute, Petunia. Marge's train gets in at ten."

Harry, whose thoughts had been upstairs with the Broomstick Servicing

Kit, was brought back to earth with an unpleasant bump.

"Aunt Marge?" he blurted out. "Sh -- she's not coming here, is she?"

Aunt Marge was Uncle Vernon's sister. Even though she was not a blood

relative of Harry's (whose mother had been Aunt Petunia's sister), he

had been forced to call her "Aunt" all his life. Aunt Marge lived in the

country, in a house with a large garden, where she bred bulldogs. She

didn't often stay at Privet Drive, because she couldn't bear to leave

her precious dogs, but each of her visits stood out horribly vividly in

Harry's mind.

At Dudley's fifth birthday party, Aunt Margo had whacked Harry around

the shins with her walking stick to stop him from beating Dudley at

musical statues. A few years later, she had turned up at Christmas with

a computerized robot for Dudley and a box of dog biscuits for Harry. On

her last visit, the year before Harry started at Hogwarts, Harry had

accidentally trodden on the tail of her favorite dog. Ripper had chased

Harry out into the garden and up a tree, and Aunt Marge had refused to

call him off until past midnight. The memory of this incident still

brought tears of laughter to Dudley's eyes.

"Marge'll be here for a week," Uncle Vernon snarled, 11 and while we're

on the subject" -- he pointed a fat finger threateningly at Harry -- "we

need to get a few things straight before I go and collect her."

Dudley smirked and withdrew his gaze from the television. Watching Harry

being bullied by Uncle Vernon was Dudley's favorite form of

entertainment.

"Firstly," growled Uncle Vernon, "you'll keep a civil tongue in your

head when you're talking to Marge."

"All right," said Harry bitterly, "if she does when she's talking to me.

"Secondly," said Uncle Vernon, acting as though he had not heard Harry's

reply, "as Marge doesn't know anything about your abnormality, I don't

want any -- any funny stuff while she's here.

You behave yourself, got me?"

"I will if she does," said Harry through gritted teeth.

"And thirdly," said Uncle Vernon, his mean little eyes now slits in his

great purple face, "we've told Marge you attend St. Brutus's Secure

Center for Incurably Criminal Boys."

"What?" Harry yelled.

"And you'll be sticking to that story, boy, or there'll be trouble, spat

Uncle Vernon.

Harry sat there, white-faced and furious, staring at Uncle Vernon,

hardly able to believe it. Aunt Marge coming for a weeklong visit -- it

was the worst birthday present the Dursleys had ever given him,

including that pair of Uncle Vernon's old socks.

"Well, Petunia," said Uncle Vernon, getting heavily to his feet, "I'll

be off to the station, then. Want to come along for the ride, Dudders?"

"No," said Dudley, whose attention had returned to the television now

that Uncle Vernon had finished threatening Harry.

"Duddy's got to make himself smart for his auntie," said Aunt Petunia,

smoothing Dudley's thick blond hair. "Mummy's bought him a lovely new

bow tie."

Uncle Vernon clapped Dudley on his porky shoulder. "See you in a bit,

then," he said, and he left the kitchen.

Harry, who had been sitting in a kind of horrified trance, had a sudden

idea. Abandoning his toast, he got quickly to his feet and followed

Uncle Vernon to the front door.

Uncle Vernon was pulling on his car coat.

"I'm not taking you," he snarled as he turned to see Harry watching him.

"Like I wanted to come," said Harry coldly. "I want to ask you

something."

Uncle Vernon eyed him suspiciously.

"Third years at Hog -- at my school are allowed to visit the village

sometimes," said Harry.

"So?" snapped Uncle Vernon, taking his car keys from a hook next to the

door.

"I need you to sign the permission form," said Harry in a rush.

"And why should I do that?" sneered Uncle Vernon.

"Well," said Harry, choosing his words carefully, "it'll be hard work,

pretending to Aunt Marge I go to that St. Whatsits --"

"St. Brutus's Secure Center for Incurably Criminal Boys!" bellowed Uncle

Vernon, and Harry was pleased to hear a definite note of panic in Uncle

Vernon's voice.

"Exactly," said Harry, looking calmly up into Uncle Vernon's large,

purple face. "It's a lot to remember. I'll have to make it sound

convincing, won't I? What if I accidentally let something slip?"

"You'll get the stuffing knocked out of you, won't you?" roared Uncle

Vernon, advancing on Harry with his fist raised. But Harry stood his

ground.

"Knocking the stuffing out of me won't make Aunt Marge forget what I

could tell her," he said grimly.

Uncle Vernon stopped, his fist still raised, his face an ugly puce.

"But if you sign my permission form," Harry went on quickly, "I swear

I'll remember where I'm supposed to go to school, and I'll act like a

Mug -- like I'm normal and everything."

Harry could tell that Uncle Vernon was thinking it over, even if his

teeth were bared and a vein was throbbing in his temple.

"Right," he snapped finally. "I shall monitor your behavior carefully

during Marge's visit. If, at the end of it, you've toed the line and

kept to the story, I'll sign your ruddy form."

He wheeled around, pulled open the front door, and slammed it so hard

that one of the little panes of glass at the top fell out.

Harry didn't return to the kitchen. He went back upstairs to his

bedroom. If he was going to act like a real Muggle, he'd better start

now. Slowly and sadly he gathered up all his presents and his birthday

cards and hid them under the loose floorboard with his homework. Then he

went to Hedwig's cage. Errol seemed to have recovered; he and Hedwig

were both asleep, heads under their wings. Harry sighed, then poked them

both awake.

"Hedwig," he said gloomily, "you're going to have to clear off for a

week. Go with Errol. Ron'll look after you. I'll write him a note,

explaining. And don't look at me like that" -- Hedwig's large amber eyes

were reproachful -- "it's not my fault. It's the only way I'll be

allowed to visit Hogsmeade with Ron and Hermione."

Ten minutes later, Errol and Hedwig (who had a note to Ron bound to her

leg) soared out of the window and out of sight. Harry, now feeling

thoroughly miserable, put the empty cage away inside the wardrobe.

But Harry didn't have long to brood. In next to no time, Aunt Petunia

was shrieking up the stairs for Harry to come down and get ready to

welcome their guest.

"Do something about your hair!" Aunt Petunia snapped as he reached the

hall.

Harry couldn't see the point of trying to make his hair lie flat. Aunt

Marge loved criticizing him, so the untidier he looked, the happier she

would be.

All too soon, there was a crunch of gravel outside as Uncle Vernon's car

pulled back into the driveway, then the clunk of the car doors and

footsteps on the garden path.

"Get the door!" Aunt Petunia hissed at Harry.

A feeling of great gloom in his stomach, Harry pulled the door open.

On the threshold stood Aunt Marge. She was very like Uncle Vernon:

large, beefy, and purple- faced, she even had a mustache, though not as

bushy as his. In one hand she held an enormous suitcase, and tucked

under the other was an old and evil-tempered bulldog.

"Where's my Dudders?" roared Aunt Marge. "Where's my neffy-poo?"

Dudley came waddling down the hall, his blond hair plastered flat to his

fat head, a bow tie just visible under his many chins. Aunt Marge thrust

the suitcase into Harry's stomach, knocking the wind out of him, seized

Dudley in a tight one-armed hug, and planted a large kiss on his cheek.

Harry knew perfectly well that Dudley only put up with Aunt Marge's hugs

because he was well paid for it, and sure enough, when they broke apart,

Dudley had a crisp twenty-pound note clutched in his fat fist.

"Petunia!" shouted Aunt Marge, striding past Harry as though he was a

hat stand. Aunt Marge and Aunt Petunia kissed, or rather, Aunt Marge

bumped her large jaw against Aunt Petunia's bony cheekbone.

Uncle Vernon now came in, smiling jovially as he shut the door.

"Tea, Marge?" he said. "And what will Ripper take?"

"Ripper can have some tea out of my saucer," said Aunt Marge as they all

proceeded into the kitchen, leaving Harry alone in the hall with the

suitcase. But Harry wasn't complaining; any excuse not to be with Aunt

Marge was fine by him, so he began to heave the case upstairs into the

spare bedroom, taking as long as he could.

By the time he got back to the kitchen, Aunt Marge had been supplied

with tea and fruitcake, and Ripper was lapping noisily in the corner.

Harry saw Aunt Petunia wince slightly as specks of tea and drool flecked

her clean floor. Aunt Petunia hated animals.

"Who's looking after the other dogs, Marge?" Uncle Vernon asked.

"Oh, I've got Colonel Fubster managing them," boomed Aunt Marge. "He's

retired now, good for him to have something to do. But I couldn't leave

poor old Ripper. He pines if he's away from me."

Ripper began to growl again as Harry sat down. This directed Aunt

Marge's attention to Harry for the first time.

"So!" she barked. "Still here, are you?"

"Yes," said Harry.

"Don't you say yes' in that ungrateful tone," Aunt Marge growled. "It's

damn good of Vernon and Petunia to keep you. Wouldn't have done it

myself. You'd have gone straight to an orphanage if you'd been dumped on

my doorstep."

Harry was bursting to say that he'd rather live in an orphanage than

with the Dursleys, but the thought of the Hogsmeade form stopped him. He

forced his face into a painful smile.

"Don't you smirk at me!" boomed Aunt Marge. "I can see you haven't

improved since I last saw you. I hoped school would knock some manners

into you." She took a large gulp of tea, wiped her mustache, and said,

"Where is it that you send him, again, Vernon?"

"St. Brutus's," said Uncle Vernon promptly. "It's a first-rate

institution for hopeless cases."

"I see," said Aunt Marge. "Do they use the cane at St. Brutus's, boy?"

she barked across the table.

"Er --"

Uncle Vernon nodded curtly behind Aunt Marge's back.

"Yes," said Harry. Then, feeling he might as well do the thing properly,

he added, "all the time."

"Excellent," said Aunt Marge. "I won't have this namby-pamby,

wishy-washy nonsense about not hitting people who deserve it. A good

thrashing is what's needed in ninety-nine cases out of a hundred. Have

you been beaten often?"

"Oh, yeah," said Harry, "loads of times."

Aunt Marge narrowed her eyes.

"I still don't like your tone, boy," she said. "If you can speak of your

beatings in that casual way, they clearly aren't hitting you hard

enough. Petunia, I'd write if I were you. Make it clear that you approve

the use of extreme force in this boy's case."

Perhaps Uncle Vernon was worried that Harry might forget their bargain;

in any case, he changed the subject abruptly.

"Heard the news this morning, Marge? What about that escaped prisoner,

eh?"

As Aunt Marge started to make herself at home, Harry caught himself

thinking almost longingly of life at number four without her. Uncle

Vernon and Aunt Petunia usually encouraged Harry to stay out of their

way, which Harry was only too happy to do. Aunt Marge, on the other

hand, wanted Harry under her eye at all times, so that she could boom

out suggestions for his improvement. She delighted in comparing Harry

with Dudley, and took huge pleasure in buying Dudley expensive presents

while glaring at Harry, as though daring him to ask why he hadn't got a

present too. She also kept throwing out dark hints about what made Harry

such an unsatisfactory person.

"You mustn't blame yourself for the way the boy's turned out, Vernon,"

she said over lunch on the third day. "If there's something rotten on

the inside, there's nothing anyone can do about it."

Harry tried to concentrate on his food, but his hands shook and his face

was starting to burn with anger. Remember the form, he told himself

Think about Hogsmeade. Don't say anything. Don't rise

Aunt Marge reached for her glass of wine.

"It's one of the basic rules of breeding," she said. "You see it all the

time with dogs. If there's something wrong with the bitch, there'll be

something wrong with the pup --"

At that moment, the wineglass Aunt Marge was holding exploded in her

hand. Shards of glass flew in every direction and Aunt Marge sputtered

and blinked, her great ruddy face dripping.

"Marge!" squealed Aunt Petunia. "Marge, are you all right?"

"Not to worry," grunted Aunt Marge, mopping her face with her napkin.

"Must have squeezed it too hard. Did the same thing at Colonel Fubster's

the other day. No need to fuss, Petunia, I have a very firm grip..."

But Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon were both looking at Harry

suspiciously, so he decided he'd better skip dessert and escape from the

table as soon as he could.

Outside in the hall, he leaned against the wall, breathing deeply It had

been a long time since he'd lost control and made something explode. He

couldn't afford to let it happen again. The Hogsmeade form wasn't the

only thing at stake -- if he carried on like that, he'd be in trouble

with the Ministry of Magic.

Harry was still an underage wizard, and he was forbidden by wizard law

to do magic outside school. His record wasn't exactly clean either. Only

last summer he'd gotten an official warning that had stated quite

clearly that if the Ministry got wind of any more magic in Privet Drive,

Harry would face expulsion from Hogwarts.

He heard the Dursleys leaving the table and hurried upstairs out of the

way.

Harry got through the next three days by forcing himself to think about

his Handbook of Do-It-Yourself Broomcare whenever Aunt Marge started on

him. This worked quite well, though it seemed to give him a glazed look,

because Aunt Marge started voicing the opinion that he was mentally

subnormal.

At last, at long last, the final evening of Marge's stay arrived. Aunt

Petunia cooked a fancy dinner and Uncle Vernon uncorked several bottles

of wine. They got all the way through the soup and the salmon without a

single mention of Harry's faults; during the lemon meringue pie, Uncle

Vernon bored them A with a long talk about Grunnings, his drill-making

company; then Aunt Petunia made coffee and Uncle Vernon brought out a

bottle of brandy.

"Can I tempt you, Marge?"

Aunt Marge had already had quite a lot of wine. Her huge face was very

red.

"Just a small one, then," she chuckled. "A bit more than that... and a

bit more... that's the ticket."

Dudley was eating his fourth slice of pie. Aunt Petunia was sipping

coffee with her little finger sticking out. Harry really wanted to

disappear into his bedroom, but he met Uncle Vernon's angry little eyes

and knew he would have to sit it out.

"Aah," said Aunt Marge, smacking her lips and putting the empty brandy

glass back down. "Excellent nosh, Petunia. It's normally just a fry-up

for me of an evening, with twelve dogs to look after...." She burped

richly and patted her great tweed stomach. "Pardon me. But I do like to

see a healthy-sized boy," she went on, winking at Dudley. "You'll be a

proper-sized man, Dudders, like your father. Yes, I'll have a spot more

brandy, Vernon...."

"Now, this one here --"

She jerked her head at Harry, who felt his stomach clench. The Handbook,

he thought quickly.

"This one's got a mean, runty look about him. You get that with dogs. I

had Colonel Fubster drown one last year. Ratty little thing it was-

Weak. Underbred."

Harry was trying to remember page twelve of his book: A Charm to Cure

Reluctant Reversers. "It all comes down to blood, as I was saying the

other day.

Bad blood will out. Now, I'm saying nothing against your family,

Petunia" she patted Aunt Petunia's bony hand with her shovellike one

"but your sister was a bad egg. They turn up in the best families. Then

she ran off with a wastrel and here's the result right in front of us."

Harry was staring at his plate, a funny ringing in his ears. Grasp your

broom firmly by the tail, he thought. But he couldn't remember what came

next. Aunt Marge's voice seemed to be boring into him like one of Uncle

Vernon's drills.

"This Potter, 5) said Aunt Marge loudly, seizing the brandy bottle and

splashing more into her glass and over the tablecloth, "you never told

me what he did?"

Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia were looking extremely tense. Dudley had

even looked up from his pie to gape at his parents.

"He -- didn't work," said Uncle Vernon, with half a glance at Harry.

"Unemployed."

"As I expected!" said Aunt Marge, taking a huge swig of brandy and

wiping her chin on her sleeve. "A no-account, good-for-nothing, lazy

scrounger who --"

"He was not," said Harry suddenly. The table went very quiet. Harry was

shaking all over. He had never felt so angry in his life.

"MORE BRANDY!" yelled Uncle Vernon, who had gone very white. He emptied

the bottle into Aunt Marge's glass. "You, boy," he snarled at Harry. "Go

to bed, go on --"

"No, Vernon," hiccuped Aunt Marge, holding up a hand, her tiny bloodshot

eyes fixed on Harry's. "Go on, boy, go on. Proud of your parents, are

you? They go and get themselves killed in a car crash (drunk, I expect)

--"

'They didn't die in a car crash!" said Harry, who found himself on his

feet.

"They died in a car crash, you nasty little liar, and left you to be a

burden on their decent, hardworking relatives!" screamed Aunt Marge,

swelling with fury. "You are an insolent, ungrateful little --"

But Aunt Marge suddenly stopped speaking. For a moment, it looked as

though words had failed her. She seemed to be swelling with

inexpressible anger -- but the swelling didn't stop. Her great red face

started to expand, her tiny eyes bulged, and her mouth stretched too

tightly for speech -- next second, several buttons had just burst from

her tweed jacket and pinged off the walls -- she was inflating like a

monstrous balloon, her stomach bursting free of her tweed waistband,

each of her fingers blowing up like a salami --

"MARGE!" yelled Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia together as Aunt Marge's

whole body began to rise off her chair toward the ceiling. She was

entirely round, now, like a vast life buoy with piggy eyes, and her

hands and feet stuck out weirdly as she drifted up into the air, making

apoplectic popping noises. Ripper came skidding into the room, barking

madly.

"NOOOOOOO!"

Uncle Vernon seized one of Marge's feet and tried to pull her down

again, but was almost lifted from the floor himself. A second later,

Ripper leapt forward and sank his teeth into Uncle Vernon's leg.

Harry tore from the dining room before anyone could stop him, heading

for the cupboard under the stairs. The cupboard door burst magically

open as he reached it. In seconds, he had heaved his trunk to the front

door. He sprinted upstairs and threw himself under the bed, wrenching up

the loose floorboard, and grabbed the pillowcase full of his books and

birthday presents. He wriggled out, seized Hedwig's empty cage, and

dashed back downstairs to his trunk, just as Uncle Vernon burst out of

the dining room, his trouser leg in bloody tatters.

"COME BACK IN HERE!" he bellowed. "COME BACK AND PUT HER RIGHT!"

But a reckless rage had come over Harry. He kicked his trunk open,

pulled out his wand, and pointed it at Uncle Vernon.

"She deserved it," Harry said, breathing very fast. "She deserved what

she got. You keep away from me."

He fumbled behind him for the latch on the door.

"I'm going," Harry said. "I've had enough."

And in the next moment, he was out in the dark, quiet street, heaving

his heavy trunk behind him, Hedwig's cage under his arm.
