Morning
Rain
The
pounding on rooftops resounds through the house
not
a creature is stirring, don't need a dowse
rain
comes down in buckets, no cats, dogs nor mouse
with
skies overcast, I won't feel like a louse
nature's
way is best, for even a small grouse
let
the waters of life flow, sorrows I douse
silence
is golden, rain plays like Richard Strauss
'Also
Sprach Zarathustra' our wits did rouse
all
we need is love of self, theories of Gauss
no
need for other things, no shrew, nor a spouse
the
ground soaked, flowers blooming out like a blouse
morning
rain fills my heart as well as my house.
