It is official, the 10th member of the board (outside politician who has already given us some of the worst employees we have) is trying to stack the deck in his favor to be sure no one with a BRAIN or thinks INDEPENDENTLY gets on the school board. There is a GROUP who will be running together. This group consists of candidates from every district in need of NEW BLOOD on this board. These candidates will be running as a team who are CONCERNED for their childrens educations and the cost of running our schools. On the other hand at least ONE person who has been approached from Jermyn, has NO children in the school and is already on the "DO NOTHING" Curriculum Committee. I will not name this person yet, but IF he chooses to be the PATSY for the politicians who are BRAINLESSLY ruining our schools with their appointments and suggestions, I will point out how this one candidate is on several committees and accomplishes NOTHING! The other candidates I have mentioned are here to make REAL CHANGE, not like the PHONIES who promised this in the last election and are now just MORE of the SAME OLD, SAME OLD do nothing politicians we have had for years.
One good thing that will come out of this....at least one of the curent members who has brought US embarrassment in the past will finally step down. Another of the "over 25 years club, and has done nothing" will also be stepping down. Also, our SUPREME INTENDENT has asked to meet with ANY candidate running this time. Why in the hell would anyone have to meet with her when she is ONLY AN EMPLOYEE like the rest of the people working for the district. These candidates do not have to meet with their potential EMPLOYEE as if they would need her approval. It is the other way around. She may need their APPROVAL to keep her position. As I see it, that may be a problem for the current administration as a whole. If the right candidates are elected, and this administration (which by the way, if we keep adding administrators, we will be more BROKE than we already are with NOTHIN TO SHOW FOR OUR MONEY) fears the worse, and they should....maybe we will get back to the days when Gig was here and the district ran smooth and the education level was UP not DOWN as it is under this administration.
REMEMBER, DO NOT LISTEN TO THOSE WHO PROMISE JOBS (MINIMUM WAGE, PART TIME...TIL THEY ARE THROUGH WITH YOU AND YOU GET LAID OFF LIKE THE REST HAVE WHO FELL FOR THE POLITICAL BULLSHIT) JUST TO GET YOUR FAMILY TO VOTE FOR THEIR CANDIDATE. THESE CANDIDATES WILL GET TO HAND OUT THE REAL JOBS TO MORE UNDERACHIEVERS WHO HAVE TURNED OUR DISTRICT INTO A "CRADLE TO GRAVE" JOB FACTORY FOR EMPLOYEES WHO CAN'T FIND A REAL JOB IN THE PRIVATE SECTOR. LOOK AT THE ENTIRE FAMILIES OF SOME OF THESE POLITICOS. THEY ALL WORK FOR SOME FORM OF GOVERNMENT. THEY NEVER HAD TO WORK AS WE ALL HAVE, BECAUSE THEY ARE PROTECTED. IT IS TIME TO STOP THIS PRACTICE HERE IN OUR DISTRICT. LOOK AT OUR SCHOOLS....THEY ARE FALLING APART...THE SPECIAL PROGRAMS ARE NOT FULLY STAFFED, EVEN THOUGH WE HAVE GOTTEN FEDERAL MONIES TO DO SO.....WE HAVE INCAPABLE EMPLOYEES WHO COLLECT A PAYCHECK AND DO NOT ACCOMPLISH ANYTHING....WE HAVE A TEACHERS UNION THAT IS SOOO INTERTWINED WITH THE BOARD THAT WHEN A TEACHER WANTS TO FILE A GRIEVANCE ABOUT HOW THEY ARE TREATED OR HOW THEY ARE NOT GIVEN THE PROPER TOOLS TO EDUCATE, THEY ARE MET WITH A BRICK WALL FROM THEIR OFFICERS. THIS ALL NEEDS TO CHANGE, AND AS LONG AS THE OUTSIDE POLITICOS KEEP POKING THEIR NOSES IN OUR BUSINESS, IT WILL BE THE SAME......JUST PLAIN BAD.
FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE ON A FIXED INCOME...YOU SHOULD BE THE MOST UPSET WITH THESE PEOPLE, INSTEAD I SEE THEM LEAD YOU INTO THE POLLS AND RECCOMMEND THEIR CRONIES AS YOU VOTE. YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE CHILDREN IN THE SCHOOLS IN MOST CASES, BUT YOU PAY....AND PAY....AND PAY...FOR NOTHING, DUE TO THESE POLITICAL CRONIES. HOW MUCH MORE CAN YOU AFFORD TO PAY TO KEEP THEIR FAMILIES AND FRIENDS WORKING (WELL, WORKING IS NOT WHAT I WOULD CALL IT). YOU ARE PAYING FOR ALL THIS NONSENSE LIKE BUYING ANOTHER BUILDING (WHICH BY THE WAY IS POSITIONED IN A VERY PRECARIOUS SPOT, SINCE THERE MAY BE CONTAMINATED SOIL ALL AROUND IT) WHEN WE CAN'T AFFORD TO REPLACE EMPLOYEES WE LET GO TO SAVE A MINIMUM OF DOLLARS.
WE NEED TO CLEAN THIS HOUSE FROM THE TOP DOWN.....INCLUDING OUTSIDERS WHO HAVE NO BUSINESS BEING INVOLVED, ESPECIALLY BY TRYING TO FILL THESE POSITIONS WITH THEIR "YES MEN."
THINK ABOUT THIS....THINK REAL HARD. GET OUT AND VOTE, AND VOTE FOR ANY CANDIDATE WHO IS NOT CONNECTED.
